My first guess would be either you are missing a dependency which you don't have installed, a GUI issue, or a packaging issue (the installation scripts are broken). Normally I would say you might try running strace or gdb to determine where its failing, but this is proprietary software with licensing restrictions against reverse engineering and stepping through proprietary software might be considered reverse engineering (I am not a lawyer). If its not working, and you need to get it working you'll need to decompose the package as you won't get much information from the coredump since the symbols have been stripped out. ![]()
